Drake and Morgan to open three sites over the next year.

Drake and Morgan, the London based restaurant and bar group, is to take a significant step towards its stated goal of becoming a national group. It is to open three new sites over the next twelve months including its first site in Manchester. The new openings will bring the group’s portfolio to fourteen once it opens its Heathrow Terminal 4 site this summer. The group will open The Refinery in Manchester this autumn this year. It will occupy a 185-cover, 5,800 sq.ft. site in the new Cotton Building in Spinningfields and forms part of Drake and Morgan’s wider aim of expanding its Refinery brand. The group’s second opening will be in Manchester at One St. Peter’s Square. The 185-cover, 6,000 sq. ft. will open in spring 2017. The third opening will be a 400-cover, three storey, 13,000 sq.ft. site in London’s West India Quay, which is also expected to open in spring of 2017. Managing Director of Drake and Morgan Jillian MacLean, said: “We are delighted to be bringing our bars and restaurants to Edinburgh and Manchester and of course expanding in our heartland in central London. We look forward to accelerating the roll out of our business and welcoming more lovely customers to Drake & Morgan.”
