Côte buys restaurant businesses Jackson + Rye and Limeyard.

French casual dining chain Côte has bought restaurant businesses Jackson + Rye and Limeyard. The restaurant groups have been sold for an undisclosed amount and the plan is to roll out both of the Richard Caring brands. Jackson + Rye has three London restaurants in Soho, Chiswick and Richmond, meanwhile Limeyard, which is an all-day American Kitchen, has one site in Ealing. Alex Scrimgeour, chief executive of Côte, told the Evening Standard “We’re incredibly excited to bring two high quality fledging restaurant concepts under the Côte umbrella at such an early stage in their growth. Both cater to a new type of clientele for us and we see an opportunity to apply Côte’s proven front and back house expertise to develop and expand both brands further”.
