The Restaurant Group reports strong trading.

The Restaurant Group (TRG), the company that operates restaurants such as Chiquito and Coast to Coast, have reported a 2.5% increase in like-for-like sales during the 26 weeks to the 28^th June. The company, headed by Danny Breithaupt, has also announced a total revenue increase of 8% to £334m from £308m last year. Mr Breithaupt credited the strengthening economy and increasing disposable incomes for these impressive figures, as well as the hard work of TRG employees. With between 43 and 48 restaurants expected to open by the end of the year, it would appear that this success is likely to continue. Danny Breithaupt said: “I have great confidence that TRG is well set for continued strong growth this year and beyond”.
