Snowdon walk 2016.

This Saturday (23rd July) ten employees from across all departments of the business will be taking part in a mammoth walk in Snowdon. Setting off early on Saturday morning, the group will attempt to climb the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon (1085m) and walking a total of seventeen miles. This has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to train, but nevertheless Team Chapman Vent are physically and mentally ready. After tackling Snowdon the group will make their way to Zipworld – the longest zip line in Europe which often reaches speeds well in excess of 100mph. But this is not just for fun. We’re hoping to raise £1,000 for one of our three corporate charities – Isabel Hospice. The charity enhances the quality of life of patients living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in Eastern Hertfordshire. Here’s a break down of our day is going to be:

Saturday 23rd July
0600 Pen-y-pass to Snowdon
0915-1015 Snowdon down Llanberis path to track junction
1015-1245 Track junction to car park for lunch
1245-1400 Car park through Nant Peris to summit Elidir Fawr
1400-1500 Elidir Fawr to Y Garn
1500 Y Garn to Idwal Cottage
1500-1600 Drive from Idwal Cottage to Zipworld
1640-1840 Zipworld experience
1900 Depart Zipworld
Approx. 2330 Return back to the office
