Obicà to open in St. Paul’s this month.

Obicà, the Italian restaurant and mozzarella bar, is to open its fifth UK site this month in St. Paul’s. The 120-cover site will open in the heart of the City and feature a deli, private dining room and terrace. Obicà opened its first site in Rome in 2004 and now has 19 restaurants across Italy, the UK, Japan and Dubai. The menu at the site in St.Paul’s includes traditional Italian regional cuisine featuring gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Dishes will include homemade pasta, pizza, fish, and various meats. Mozzarella di bufala campana DOP – made from the milk of a water buffalo – will be imported twice a week and served at the mozzarella bar either with Italian black truffle or olive oil. Raimondo Boggi, CEO of Obicà group, said: “We are very excited to bring the City a cool designed restaurant with the freshest and finest Italian delicacies, plated in a contemporary style. We want to be recognised for the best mozzarella di bufala and the best pizza in Central London, nothing less.”
