Franco Manca is to open its 36th site this week in Richmond-upon-Thames. The 94-cover restaurant on Red Lion Street is within an old police station. The group have recently opened sites in Bournemouth and Brighton Marina, and plans to expand further before the end of the year. Franco Manca was founded in Brixton Market in 2008 by David Page, former chief executive of PizzaExpress and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, serves Neapolitan-style pizza using organic and locally-sourced produce when possible.
