Dishoom confirm plans to open sixth restaurant in Kensington

Dishoom is to open its sixth site in Kensington later this year. The newest site will be located inside the Barkers Arcade Building on Derry Street – just off High Street Kensington. The Bombay Café, that offers contemporary Indian street food throughout the day, currently operates four sites across London and one site in Edinburgh.

Shamil Thakrar, co-founder of Dishoom, said: “We’re extremely excited to be opening a Dishoom in Barkers building in Kensington, which is such an iconic Art Deco building. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore two surprising and delightfully rich aspects of Bombay’s history which we have long been in love with – Art Deco and jazz. I hope it will be our best restaurant yet”.
