The Ivy strengthens its pipeline in central London.
The Ivy Collection, backed by Richard Caring, has further strengthened its pipeline in central London after securing the Vintage Salt site near Liverpool Street from Des McDonald, the former chief executive of Caprice Holdings. The group has secured the two-storey site in Dashwood House, Old Broad Street for an opening under either its brasserie/grill or café formats this spring. Before Christmas, the Ivy Collection dropped a hint at where it hopes to expand over the coming 12-18 months, with a list of target locations appearing on its website. The Ivy Collection currently operates six sites in London, under its grill, brasserie and café formats, plus a site in Bristol.
