Tough Mudder 2016

On Saturday 30th April, a team of seventeen employees from across the business took part in Tough Mudder in West London. Here are some of the obstacles Team Chapman Vent had to face: Electroshock Therapy – A field of dangling wires delivering a punch at 10,000 volts, Everest 2.0 – The slick quarter pipe is over 15’ tall, with a recurved top to make it extra hard to get that handhold and Funky Monkey – This obstacle tests your upper body strength. It starts with monkey bars, angled upwards to meet a trapeze. If you drop, you’ll take a drop into the 6ft swim of shame.

We didn’t take part in Tough Mudder just because we’re a crazy bunch, but to raise money for one of our three chosen charities – Help for Heroes. The charity provides better facilities for British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty. Help for Heroes estimates that up to 75,000 may need the charities support in the future for a psychological or physical issue – regardless of whether they were deployed or not.

Team Chapman Vent did exceptionally well and finished as a team in just under four and a half hours. If would like to donate to Team Chapman Vent click here.
