Mother’s Day Sunday 11th March 2018

Mums are real-life superheroes – they’re our teachers, best friends, someone you can always lean on…oh and a good chef (well, sometimes). Mother’s Day (on the 11th March for those who might have forgotten) is the one time of the year when we can give our mums a well-deserved day-off from superhero duties and take them somewhere special.

There’s no better way to say ‘thank you’ than spoiling her rotten and treating her to a spectacular day out filled with love, laughter and of course food…

Breakfast at Côte Brasserie

We have all been told by our mums whilst growing up that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, start your day the right way and head down to Côte Brasserie to celebrate this year’s Bonne Fête Maman (Mother’s Day). For one day only, it is offering a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch available from 9am until 2pm across all of its sites. Celebrate with a glass of champagne and choose from a selection of classic French breakfast dishes which includes: eggs Florentine, crêpe complete, French toast or croque Madame. There is a number of Côte restaurants across the country, so if you’re unsure what restaurant to book check out the full list of locations here: https://www.cote.co.uk/location

Lunch at Drake and Morgan

Give your mum a rest from roast duties and try the Drake and Morgan Sunday roast dinner for £14.95 per person. You can enjoy a glass of bubbly and a Sunday Roast with the option of: free-range half chicken with Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets, or a rib of beef served with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce. It also includes all the trimmings…yum! This offer is available at a number of Drake and Morgan sites across the country including restaurants in Edinburgh and London.

Dinner at Gymkhana

Head to Gymkhana for this year’s Mother’s Day to enjoy a meal at one of London’s finest Indian eateries. Gymkhana, sister restaurant to Trishna, has won a number of awards including: a Michelin star awarded in 2014 and the Best Indian Restaurant in the UK in 2015. Located in Mayfair the restaurant takes the theme of an old Indian colonial gentleman’s club with a modern day interpretation of a 17th Century East India punch house. The A La Carte menu features a number of traditional Indian dishes including: kebabs, tikkas, curries and biryanis that’s available on Mother’s Day from 5.30pm to 10.30pm. Make sure you take a look at the drinks menu that includes: classic Indian punches, cocktails infused with spices and Indian spirits and a specialised gin and tonic list.
